Flash Flood Watch in effect through Sunday night in the Upstate, Western NC

(WSPA) – A Flash Flood Watch is in effect from 8 p.m. Saturday night through Sunday evening due to Tropical Depression Claudette.

On average the Upstate is expected to see roughly one to two inches of rain while parts of Western North Carolina will see up to two inches.

Storm Team 7 Meteorologist Jackie Brown says that a few severe storms are possible as well as gusty winds and isolated flooding.
