Today is “Women Rock” day, a day to remember that women have made an immense contribution to Rock Roll as well as men.
Today is the anniversary of January 3, 1987, when Aretha Franklin became the first woman to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Since then, the Supremes, Janis Joplin, Stevie Nicks and many others have been inducted.
