Celebrity golfers headed out to the green Thursday morning for the BMW Charity Pro-Am.
The four-day golf tournament starts Thursday and expects to hit the $13 million mark in donations for Upstate charities.
This year’s tournament features a record 36 celebrities paired with golf pros. They will hit the courses at Thornblade Club, The Cliffs Valley and The Furman Golf Club.
Gates at all courses open at 7 a.m. Thursday, May 17.
Returning players include Alfonso Ribeiro, Larry the Cable Guy and Bill Engvall. Super Bowl champion and Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers also returns this year, along with Jay Demarcus from Rascal Flatts.
New additions include actor Don Cheadle and Willie Robertson from Duck Dynasty.
Also new this year is a celebrity softball game at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Fluor Field. It’s your best bet for spotting the stars.
Tickets start at $8 for the game, tickets to the tournament are no longer available online but you can purchase them at the golf courses through the tournament.
