GREENVILLE, CO, SC (WSPA) — Friday, registration for Greenville Technical College’s summer day camps Adventure Tech opened this week.
Parents of children 11 to 14 years old are able to sign them up for half-day or four-day camp sessions.
Adventure Tech will run June 3 through August 1, students entering 6th through 8th grades, will be able to work with their parents’ schedule, to choose either morning and/or afternoon sessions for a full or half day of camp.
Jennifer Moorefield, Greenville Tech Associate Vice President, said the different camp options offer career pathways with interactive, hands-on learning for middle schoolers.
Camps offer options in the fields of scene, technology, engineering, math, and culinary.
“That’s why we’re doing the camps, so you get them exposed, not only to these skills. But, to other people in our community, and we’re hoping that they’ll be inspired to follow a passion and find their own career path early,” Moore field said.
She added these camp experiences should enrich and define their futures while having fun with friends.
Greenfield Tech faculty will teach the majority of the camp sessions at either the Northwest, Brashier or Center for Manufacturing Innovation campus.
